ABOUT
Self Made: A Makers Collective is a semi-annual show that gathers the top craftspeople and artisans of the Hudson Valley and surrounding areas for a one-day event.
Our first show took place in May of this year at Beacon’s historic University Settlement Camp. We hosted more than 50 vendors, along with Catskill Brewery and three food trucks. The curated marketplace showcased makers from a wide-range of skillsets, including leatherwork, vintage clothing and homegoods, apothecary and small batch beauty, woodwork, artisanal food and spirits, fiber design and clothing, and then some. Some of our vendors included October Design Co, Orange County Distillery, and Felt + Fat who Vouge Magazine named one of the “5 Designers to Watch” in 2016.
Like its spring show, Self Made’s Holiday Bash will take place in Beacon, this time at the historic American Legion, located on its bustling Main Street. The city of Beacon is nationally recognized as cultural hub for the arts. It’s home to the D.I.A., boutique hotels, independent and artisanal shops, galleries, and critically acclaimed restaurants that feature fresh and locally sourced cuisine. Along with an amazing lineup of vendors there will be food, music, and lots of surprises throughout the day. We hope you join us!
